He wants to help clients feel confident and comfortable with who they are, and empowered to make the changes and achieve their goals.
The key to a good therapist / client relationship is a strong therapist-patient relationship based on open communication, caring and respect, empathy, trust, genuineness and collaboration.
Dr. Glickman utilizes therapeutic modalities such as CBT, narrative therapy, interpersonal therapy, mindfulness-based CBT, emotion-focused therapy, hypnotherapy and other evidence-based treatment. He uses these methods in tandem with his own personal challenges and experience in life, which allows him to offer therapy that is more real and more human than just a therapeutic modality.
