Dr. Raquel Vega

Dr. Raquel Vega

Dr. Raquel Vega is a licensed clinical psychologist with more than 15 years of experience providing psychotherapy to adults with a wide range of emotional and mental health concerns. She specializes in working with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, life transitions, self-doubt, and challenges with confidence and self-esteem.
Throughout her career, Dr. Vega has worked in private practice, outpatient behavioral health, group practice, and senior care settings. This broad experience has given her the opportunity to work with people at many different stages of life and to help clients navigate everything from everyday stressors and relationship difficulties to significant loss, illness, and major life changes.

Dr. Vega believes that therapy should help clients not only better understand themselves, but also develop practical tools they can use in their everyday lives. She works collaboratively with each client to identify their goals, recognize patterns that may be getting in their way, strengthen coping skills, and create meaningful and sustainable change.

Working with Dr. Vega, patients should expect a warm, supportive, and collaborative environment where they can feel comfortable talking openly about what is happening in their lives. Dr. Vega takes the time to understand each client’s individual experiences, challenges, and goals rather than approaching treatment with a one-size-fits-all solution.

Sessions with Dr. Vega balance insight and self-exploration with practical strategies that clients can use outside of therapy. She helps clients better understand their emotions and behavioral patterns while developing healthier ways of coping with stress, navigating difficult situations, and moving toward the changes they would like to make in their lives.

Dr. Vega’s therapeutic approach can be best described as collaborative, supportive, practical, and individualized. Dr. Vega draws from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), person-centered therapy, positive psychology, and supportive therapy.

Her approach emphasizes helping clients recognize the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical coping strategies and greater self-awareness. She tailors treatment to each client’s individual needs and goals, with an emphasis on building resilience, improving emotional well-being, and helping clients feel more confident in their ability to navigate life’s challenges.
