Licensed Psychologist
Dr. Phillips started her career with 14-years as a School Psychologist and for the last 7+ years she has been working as a Counseling Psychologist. During this time, she has worked extensively with people with developmental disabilities, educational and learning issues, family stressors, depression, anxiety, social difficulties, and trauma.
Dr. Phillips prioritizes a strengths-based approach in helping clients to actualize their potential utilizing research based treatment methods. Treatment strategies may include use of a combination of motivational interviewing, mindfulness and cognitive behavioral strategies, trauma-informed and person centered practices.
While working with Dr. Phillips, clients should expect to feel at ease and supported while exploring identified issues and challenges. Treatment will include discussion of the presenting issues, current barriers, development of treatment goals, and recommended interventions. Each session will be structured based on the current needs of the client with consideration for the clients preferences and chosen needs.
